How long can dehydrated foods be stored?

0

Because of the inert atmosphere in the can, the lack of moisture, and your cooperation in storing the foods in a cool, dry place, Ready Reserve foods have the longest shelf life of any dehydrated foods in the industry. Foods with the least amount of oils will store the longest, such as fruits and vegetables. Whole grains have even been found in the pyramids in Egypt that were still viable in our current time. So foods will vary in their storage time. In our “High Nutrition Basic Foods Unit” we recommend that you rotate the egg and milk products within 5 years. The other items will probably be safely stored 10 years or more.
