How long can an order remain on the ASX?
An order will remain on the ASX until it either transacts, or is cancelled either by the client or the ASX, subject to market regulations as defined by the ASX Market Rules (For further explanation to this last point please contact us). It can be cancelled by the ASX at any time that the basis of quotation has been changed to suspension. The basis of quotation will change for a number of reasons, for example, if a security is quoted as going ex-dividend.
