How long can an ADFA haircut be?
Members of ADFA are subject to the Standing Orders for Dress appropriate to their service. First haircut would be a Number 1 all over – after that it can grow out within limits. There’s a long and detailed list of prohibitions, but the easiest to remember and most important are: – Hair doesn’t touch the ears, collar or eyebrows – Bulk of hair is no more than 4cm long – Hair on the neck is shaved or trimmed Hence, for the most part your boy JB would be safe if he were a member of ADFA. Hair is a bit long at the back, and that’d be around the stage when a soldier should be planning on getting a haircut before getting into the poo.
