How long can a dog hold urine while owner is at work?
I think it would depend on the size of the dog and how often he/ she drinks water. When I was a kid, we use to have a lab who would hold his bladder for 8 hours. I think that this is even too hard for humans I wouldn’t expect my dog to do anything I couldn’t do myself. I put down wee wee pads during the day and he always goes on them. When I get home I pick them up and he goes to the door when he needs to go.
