How long can a baby Garter snake go without eating?
Baby garter snakes are WAY too small to consume pinkie mice. Babies can only go a couple weeks without eating, depending on their health. I wouldn’t even risk waiting that long. Offer guppies in a shallow bowl. Fish in particular, wiggling around in water, tend to spark their curiosity and hopefully they’re feeding response. Babies who refuse to eat create an extremely nerve-wracking experience, but stay calm. If you lose him, don’t feel bad. Calling a vet wouldn’t hurt, but they probably won’t be able to offer you much more information than anyone on here.
