How long before you wean goats from their goat feeding?

Goats are never “weaned” from their feeding. When they are lactating they are fed a high protein grain. The only time you don’t feed this is when they are dry. You start again about 2 weeks before birth, usually with simple corn. If you mean bottles, doe kids that are herd replacements, usually 3 months. Meat kids longer to get a better quality meat. As a lover of chevon, I fed milk up to the day of slaughter. Buck kids for herd replacement or sale, usually 3 months, also.
