How Long Before Mould Starts Growing On Clothes?
Mold is likely to grow on cloths if they are kept damp or in moist place for over a week or so. Mold can grow on the clothing itself because it has been kept damp-ridden for a long period of time (between 1 to 4 week). Even if the cloths are kept in wooden closets in rainy season, mold can grow both on the clothes and in the closet. If mold is not properly removed and washed from the clothing before you reuse the clothes it can cause allergies and skin irritation. You can recognize mold on clothes as it looks like big white patches all over. It also has a very peculiar smell which smells a little like hydro smell. In order to properly remove mold from your cloths you should add 20 Multeam Borax and Hydogen peroxide in the machine water and let the cloths spin for 2 mins. Stop the spinning and let the cloths soak for 4 hours. Wash cloths normally after, and repeat the procedure over before you hang dry the cloths in the sun for over a day.
