How long before homosexuals in California sue and shut down churches that refuse to marry homosexual couples?
We can already see the warning signs. Some years ago, a church in San Francisco was attacked because the pastor preached about homosexuality as a sin. There have been many protests, particularly in northern CA, against churches which stand on the fact that homosexuality is a sin. This is a two part struggle, though. True, there are those who would desire to see churches either conform to their ways, or shut down. However, the Church bears some of the blame. Too many congregations and individuals have cast judgment on the people instead of showing that God’s word shows judgment against sin itself. Homosexuality is one of the many manifestations of a life in sin, but God loves the homosexuals. Our right to free speech does not give us the right to bash, insult, judge, torment, picket against homosexuals, abortionists, or anyone else we know to be living in sin.
