How long are undergraduate University degrees in Scotland?
Scotland operates a 4 year degree system. However, the Undergraduate Certificate foundation course equates to the first year of degree study and on completion, students move into the second year of an undergraduate degree. Therefore, international students can still complete their university study in 4 years. Students with excellent high school grades can study the Diploma which equates to the second year of a degree and move in to the third year of a degree on completion.
