How long are TOEFL scores valid and what is the minimum score required to be accepted into Graduate Studies?
TOEFL scores are valid for two years from the date the test was taken. The College of Graduate Studies and Research retains the score only while they are valid. The minimum requirement for the Graduate College is 550 (written) or 213 (computer based), but many departments require a higher score. Please note that students without such official evidence of proficiency in English will not be permitted to register or receive scholarship support. You are strongly advised to obtain an acceptable score before entering Canada.
