How long are the sessions?
A. The usual length of a physiotherapy initial assessment with treatment is 1 to 1 hours. Because the service is tailored to the individual’s needs, treatment time varies. Treatment sessions for complex care such as that provided to individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents is often 1.5 hours. Work conditioning programs are often longer. Typical treatment sessions are usually about 1 hour depending on the nature of the session. Occupational Therapy sessions depend on the individual and nature of the referral. Prescription Orthotic assessments take generally 30-45 minutes. Counselling sessions are typically one hour.
Generally, mediation sessions are scheduled to last from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the couples needs and available time. Some couples prefer longer sessions while others find that shorter sessions are more productive. Each mediator works differently and has a different approach to how they schedule sessions. This is an important question to ask in your initial phone call.
