Winter Break: roughly four weeks Spring Break: one week Holiday breaks are usually for the day before the holiday and through the weekend immediately following.

Thanksgiving break is typically a week long. Christmas comes during the break between Fall and Winter quarters which lasts from two to two and half weeks long.
