The English Placement Test is comprises a 45 minute writing sample, and a 50 minute multiple choice question test. The math and chemistry placement tests and the math pre-calculus test is 1 hour. There will be a 15-minute orientation before the English, math, and chemistry placement test begins.

The English Placement Test comprises a 45 minute writing sample, and a 50 minute multiple choice question test. The Math Placement Test is a computerized, adaptive, multiple-choice question test. The math test is untimed, however, at SRJC a three hour time limit is allotted to complete the test. The Chemistry Placement Test is 45 minutes. There will be a 15-minute orientation before the English, and Math, and Chemistry Placement Tests.
