We are fortunate to have a wonderful team who strive daily, beyond the call of duty, to encourage adoption and rescue. When an animal is put up for adoption they will not be pulled from the adoption area unless they become aggressive or seriously ill. Our adoption rate is well over the national average and is one of the best in the state but we depend on the citizens of Cherokee County to be responsible and have their companion animals spayed or neutered.
