The initial appointment is approximately 45 minutes including filing out the necessary paperwork.Any follow-up appointments are approximately 30 minutes each but may vary depending on the type of treatment required. Speak with the therapist about this after the first session.

While this can sometimes vary, generally a new patient¡¦s first visit will last between 60-90 minutes. Follow-up visits generally last between 40-60 minutes.

We have 30 minute and 60 minute appointments available, either as a Therapy Swim or a Self-Swim. During self-swims, guardians are required to be in the pool area at all times. For Therapy Swims, we encourage guardians to watch the sessions and participate by providing positive feedback for their dogs.

The initial evaluation (first visit) will last approximately an hour. Additional visits range from 45 minutes to an hour.

Appointments will generally last two hours or more, depending on the type of treatment you are receiving. Your student may ask you to attend an appointment once a week for the duration of your treatment. Please note that it is not advisable to bring children with you. We cannot accommodate them in the clinics, we do NOT provide child-minding services and children may not be left unattended in reception areas.
