How long are stock options good for?
Stock options are valid for the term specified in your option grant (typically ten years). They may be exercised after they have vested, (reached the vesting date specified in the option grant). Once a stock option has been exercised, it cannot be used again. If your employment with your company ends, you will have to exercise your options within a specified period or forfeit them.
