How long are badges issued for?
Badges are issues for a 3 year period or the date that your Disability Living Allowance – Higher Rate Mobility component expires (if less than 3 years). Badges are never issued for longer than 3 years. You can use your badge up to and including the expiry date displayed on the badge.
