How long are applications for non-certified positions kept in HR?
The answer depends on the job class. If a civil service exam in not required, and the individual has the qualifications for the position, we usually keep his/her application active for 3 years. If an opening becomes available, the appropriate administrator (principal or coordinator) will review the applications and call to schedule interviews.
