How Long (Approximately) Does It Take To Tour The Anne Frank House?
The website of the museum gives the visiting time as about 1 hour, http://www.annefrank.org/content.asp?PID… If you have read the book and are really into the history of Anne reserve some more time. On the other hand, if you have not read the book, do not bother going. (This is based on personal experience and many comments here on this sites.) Do give yourself enough time between the plane and your ticket, as getting out of the airport always takes longer than you expect. I often use about an hour between the flight sets down and getting the actual train. If you have a little time left over before your visit to Anne Franks house, there are nice corner cafes all over Amsterdam, get a hot chocolate or coffee, while you wait. Print out a map of Amsterdam or buy one before exploring the town, it is not big, but as many roads have bends it is a little confusing for first time visitors.
