How long and when are the summer holidays in France?
For the children, summer holidays start in the first days of July and end in early September, so about 2 months. But we say here the summer period is between the 14th of July and the 15th of August, people usually have about 3 or 4 weeks off at that time. For the tourists, many camping sites are opened from the end of May till October.
