How long after The Daily Show and The Colbert Report episodes air in the States do the shows air on THE COMEDY CHANNEL?
Literally hours. Most satellite shows are recorded here as they go to air in the States. Then we edit and check the episode for errors before putting it to air that night (or the next week day if it’s a USA Friday episode – Friday in the USA = Saturday in Australia). If this is confusing just keep in mind that we are about 14 – 17 hours ahead of the US so for example when their 10th of July episode is airing in the US it’s the afternoon on the 11th of July here.
