How long after stopping birth control can you get pregnant?
I was on the Depo Prevara shot for one year. My husband and I tried for about a year after I stopped getting the shot before we got pregnant. It usually depends on the birth control medication, but generally it can take as long as a year to become pregnant or as little as thirty days. The best advice I can give is to relax and not try to push to get prgenant. The more stress you cause your self in trying to succeed the lower the chance of becoming pregnant comes. My husband and I had to learned tha the hard way. When we gave up trying so hard and just enjoyed being with eachother instead of “getting pregnant” that when we were successful.
