How long after pugs start producing milk are the puppies born?
A dog is pregnant for approximately 63 day. Milk comes in anywhere from 2 weeks before to 2 days after birth. Do you know the date of mating? If so, add 63 days to that and that is the due date give or take a day. You should also take her to the vet and get checked and an x-ray. The x-ray will tell you how many pups there are and how much they are formed. You don’t want to guess how many pups there are because sometimes the female thinks that she is done and there are more. If you don’t know how many puppies there are you may not be ready if one surprises you or if there are complications.
