How long after planting strawberry plants do you start to see obvious signs of growth?
Strawberrys are everyones favoutite fruit whether eaten fresh or in jam, they will grow in most climates as long as they haveenough sun and moisture. They are very easily managed and will take up little space in the garden, and they will bear fruit in less than a year after planting.They are perenial plants that grow to about 8 in high and increce by runners that form plantlets at the ends of the runners. The two -to three week season of the summer – fruiting varietys or the June bearers is all to short but can be extended by planting bothearly and late types or planting the so called perpetual,everbearing or remonant types, which fruit in early summer and again in autum with the odd berry or two in between. With good management it is posible to have a good crop of strawberry for 6 months of the year or more.
