Once you have installed your TalkBroadband, you can start using the service immediately. • How long does it take to port a number over to you? On average, it will take up to 3 weeks, but can happen sooner. It’s very important that you do not cancel your current phone service until the porting is completed or you may lose your phone number. • Do I have to cancel my contact with my current provider? There is no need to cancel with your current phone company.
