CarboPro 1200 is hot-filled (pasteurized) and is as good as it gets, unlike most concentrated gels and drinks which have a load of preservatives. At room temperature, after you open the sealed lid and take your first sip, it will remain good for consumption for up to 48 hours. After that you should keep it in a refrigerator.
