I heard it is wise to wait 3 weeks after piercing your naval to change the jewelry or until it fully heals which means redness and swollen goes down completely.

Ive had it for about 2 months now and i recently changed the jewlery to a sergical sterling silver and its fine it didnt hurt at all to change it but its better if u take necessary precautions wen changing it as in use clean paper towels and clean the peircing ‘very good and most importantly wash ur hands with soap and water other than that u shouldnt have ne complications or soreness or even redness but dont take my word on it because thats what happened to me but it could vary from person to person
