How long after a bloody show can you go into labour?

Once you’ve had a show, it could be anything up to a week. It’s usually an indication that everything is preparing itself, and the show happens when your cervix is preparing to dilate. I was lucky and had a show at 8am, and then full on labour pains kicked in about an hour later, with my son born 7 hours later. For my sister it was 2 days after having a show that her labour began, so it does vary. I would spend your time relaxing as best as you can now, as it seems you will soon be seing your baby :o) Good Luck!
