Okay if it is a HPT and you are getting a positive result then you are pregnant. There is no such thing as a false positive. You have to have some pregnancy hormone in your system to get a positive. So with a urine test it takes about 50 mlg for it to register. You can have some pregnancy hormones due to some medications but generally not that high. So if the you read the results within the timeline given on the box and there is a positive line then you are pregnant.
