How large should a meditation pyramid be?
A. The standard meditation size pyramid, suitable for one or two sitting subjects, has a six-foot base length on each of its four sides. This produces a model approximately three feet, ten inches high. When the base lengths are increased to ten feet on each side, the pyramid should be approximately six feet, four inches high. A model of this size should accommodate six or more persons sitting in lotus positions. OVERHEAD: Pyramid replicas suspended above reading, work area or sleeping zones are effective when base sides each measure three feet in length. The rays projecting downward from the base are thought to be more gentle than emanations near the apex. Tubular frame replicas, with six foot base lengths, are also popular for sleeping areas.
