This is split into Area 1 (4.23 hectares) and Area 2 (5.61 hectares) as depicted on the Draft Carnarvon Fishing Boat Harbout Development Concept Plan 2009. Proponents can express interest to develop all or part(s) of Area 1 and/or Area 2. What is the proposed future land tenure of the area dedicated to the development opportunity? Reserve 33696 is currently under the care, control and management of the Minister for Transport for ‘Harbour Purposes’. Proponents are required to specify the preferred land tenure to facilitate the delivery of their suggested development. The State Government’s preference is for leasehold tenure in both Area 1 and Area 2 as depicted on the Draft Carnarvon Fishing Boat Harbour Development Concept Plan 2009.
