How large are the MP3 files if I choose electronic delivery? How large are the pdf files of the written materials?
The MP3 files (at the highest quality) are about 50 MB each (2 files in zipped, or compressed, format). The transcript and other written materials together are less than 5MB. If you do not have a high speed internet connection (DSL, cable, or T1 connection) it will not be practical to choose electronic delivery of materials. After you download the MP3 files you can put them on your MP3 player or create an audio CD (or listen to them on your computer). Once you download the transcript (a 48 page book), you could choose to print all or part of it. The flash cards are meant to be printed on card stock (very heavy paper).
The 2.5 hour program is divided into two (2) audio files (we call them CD1 and CD2). Each file is about 70MB. The transcript and other written materials (in PDF format) are less than 5MB. If you have a high speed internet connection (DSL, cable, or T1 connection) you will be able to download each audio file in about 5 minutes (usually 3-10 minutes depending on the exact speed). If you do not have a high speed internet connection your download time for each CD will be a long, long time.
