How kosher is it to blatantly “steal” stuff from Davis Wiki?
As far as content goes, you just need to attribute it to Davis Wiki someplace. Davis Wiki was built in the hopes that the material on it would be useful to others for a long, long time, and so its pages and most all of its content is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license. You should probably just use the Davis Wiki introductory content as a starting point, so leaving an attribution around before it transforms into something new isn’t a big deal.
