How is XpresSmile different from dentist LED whitening like Zoom?
A. XpresSmile’s process and material are very similar to the dentist’s in product quality and technology. Both the dentist and XpresSmile use Hydrogen Peroxide as the bleaching agent and LED lights to accelerate the bleaching process. XpresSmile uses Hydrogen Peroxide of 12 or 16% while the dentist may use up to 25-35% strength. Gels of this strength may provide a few shades whiter teeth but almost always lead to extreme teeth and gum sensitivity. XpresSmile provides 2-10 shades whiter teeth-nearly the same whitening results as the dentist- with little or no sensitivity.
