How is work in the Network communicated?

0

The dissemination of knowledge both between the scientists within the Network as well as externally to the public, media and policy makers is the responsibility of the Society for Applied Microbiology (SfAM) which has formed a Communication Unit. This Units role is to develop an internal website for scientists to share news, achievements, and reports; an external website with information for the public and other stakeholders (www.medvetnet.org); a monthly newsletter; fact sheets on zoonoses; and stories on the networks research. Strategies for advising our various stakeholders (politicians, media journalists, consumers, general public) about Med-Vet-Net will also be developed, and a training and development program for Scientific Communicators within each Institute will be established.
