How is wool flock-to-top processing?
Wool processing develops over a very complicated flow, depending on wool length and fineness as well as on the finished product wool is meant for. The first part of the processing flow, namely from grease wool to scoured wool, is common to all processes. Then, the processing flow divides into phases for worsted wool or carded wool (short fibres and processing recovery matter) and different derivatives of half-worsted wool. GENERAL PROCESSING FLOW SANT’ANDREA NOVARA products are meant for the sectors of worsted wool, drawing frames and combing machines.
