How is WinPacMonDB different from other network monitor programs (like Sniffer, BigBrother, Internet Manager, etc)?
WinPacMon is unique because it not only captures, monitors and displays total packet statistics on an IP address basis (rather than by MAC address like other monitors), but WinPacMonDB allows you to identify network usage by each host machine on your network. This technology is similar to the FBI’s Carnivore program but WinPacMonDB does not store content information in the database’s FIELDS table, just header and statistic information.
