How is WaveSync different from other synchronization servers?
• WaveSync is the most general synchronization solution, supporting all applications (“conduits” in Palm terminology) that comply with Palm’s Conduit SDK API (Application Programming Interface). That means that any application/conduit that works with Palm can work with WaveSync with little or no modification (it just can’t presume a single-user environment). Unlike other multi-user synchronization products, WaveSync is also a sync accelerator, running up to five times faster than HotSync. Another advantage is that WaveSync supports synchronization of applications and databases from multiple vendors in a single sync session (like HotSync) rather than requiring multiple sync sessions.
