How is wastewater/sewer calculated?
The wastewater rates is calculated based on the average water usage between December and April. These months are used because residents, generally, water their lawns the least during these months. Thus majority of the water used goes down the drain. The average water usage between December and April will then be used as the basis for wastewater charge from July thru June of the following year.
