VirusScanASaP is pre-configured as an On-Access scanner with an On-Demand scanner available as part of the Service. Any file accessed by the system will be scanned automatically when accessed. The On-Demand scan allows the user to select all or any portion of the PC for scanning. VirusScan ASaP will also automatically check to update and upgrade itself each time the system is rebooted or 24 hours from the last update if the machine is left on.
