The ViaCord Research Institute’s mission is to develop and support science, technology, and medical treatments using cord blood stem cells. Our cord blood technologies are designed to increase cell count and yield during the collection, processing and storage stages. Some of ViaCord’s research includes cell expansion (i.e. producing more cord blood stem cells from a cord blood unit), heart disease and diabetes.
