How is VAT applied to books printed and shipped within the EU?
In accordance with the tax laws governing members of the European Union, Blurb is required to charge VAT (value added tax) on all orders printed and delivered to destinations in EU countries. The VAT rate is in accordance with local legislation. As a result, the VAT amount is subject to change per the guidelines of each country’s tax authority. The prices displayed on Blurb’s Pricing and Shipping page, and various marketing pages, are not inclusive of VAT. At the time of checkout, the applicable VAT rate, based on the order’s delivery address, will be added to the order. You will be able to see the VAT amount prior to confirming your purchase.
