USDS is a not-for-profit corporation with approximately 100 members. It is incorporated under the Corporations Act (Ontario) and is governed by a Board of Directors, elected by members of the USDS Corporation. The basic powers of the USDS members and Board are set out in the Corporations Act and in the school’s by-laws. The governance structure of USDS reflects the original involvement of the Solomon Schechter Day School Association and the sponsoring synagogues.
