How is Upright MRI better than regular MRI?
Upright MRI is not merely standing erect; it is so flexible that it allows you to be placed in virtually any position that will yield maximum imaging results for greatest diagnostic accuracy. Regular MRI is limited by having you lie flat; many medical conditions will not be imaged with total accuracy in the recumbent (flat) position. Also, Upright MRI is faster and notably quieter than conventional MRI. With Upright MRI, you can even watch (and listen to) big-screen TV during many procedures, if you wish.
