How is Trudys Homemade Dog Food different from commercial dog food?
Most commercial dog foods are made from the waste created from the production of other foods, the lowest quality grains and with proteins and fats from unregulated rendering plants that cook down carcasses that are not fit for human consumption including diseased, disabled, dying and denatured animals. It has also been found that euthanised dogs and cats have been used in the production of dog food. Trudy’s Homemade Dog Food on the other hand is grain free and uses only first quality USDA inspected beef, chicken and turkey. Trudy’s Homemade Dog Food even rejects meats that are commonly used in restaurants. Trudy’s Homemade Dog Food does not use chicken and turkey trimmings as is common for restaurant turkey burgers. Trudy’s Homemade Dog Food only uses freshly ground skinless, boneless chicken and turkey thigh meat and 80/20 ground beef. These meats are cooked in small batches and drained to contain the correct balance of protein and fat. All ingredients are fit for human consumption.
