How is training arranged outwith the performance review process?
At present, the facility to nominate Reviewees for formal training via the PLDP can only be utilised during the ‘active’ (discussion) phase of the PDR process (although future development will allow training to be booked via the PDR at any time). Therefore, whilst the PDR record can be used on an ongoing basis to record development needs, all formal training required outwith this phase will, at the moment, have to be arranged via the training module of SPIS-HRS.
