How is Tommy doing in school?
Thomas started kindergarten at age 6 as he was not ready for school at age 5. As he was originally due to be born in November, we most likely would have had him start kindergarten in 2000 even if he had not been premature. He had some difficulty early during his kindergarten year — mostly behavior issues. However, that seemed to get resolved over the course of that year. Since Kindergarten, Thomas has done very well. He was made a “Star Citizen” for December 2003 for a story he wrote on friends. He was a “safety” in 5th grade. He will finish elementary school with all “A’s” and “B’s”.
