How is this paint different from basecoat/clearcoats Ive used in the past?
Eastwood created this paint system as a single-stage, which means you don’t need to apply a separate clearcoat, though you have the option of doing so. We think this provides additional flexibility for a variety of situations. * * * NOTE * * * 50221ZP (Gasser Green Met.) and 50225ZP (Malibu Sunset Met.) are both made with exceptionally coarse aluminum, which makes these colors difficult to shoot as in single-stage applications. Advise customers they should plan on clearcoating when shooting these two colors.
