How is the workshop set up?
Our goal is that each student works three times a night. We will cover techniques applicable to every type of audition. We will also teach you how to adjust your audition for a specific type of show. Typically, every class will begin with a short commercial piece, followed by a short scene for a Co-Star or Featured role. The third round will focus on Guest Star roles. Since auditions for TV or film projects are one-on-one with the casting director, the majority of the material in this class will be solo spots. Because each exercise is a solo spot, the class is like an extended private lesson, with the added advantage of being able to observe and learn from the work of the other students in the class.
