How is the WinCam.Live camera powered?

0

The included power supply (18VAC, 300mA) is connected to the serial port connector, which gets plugged into the back of a PC or external modem (remote WinCam). The power is carried down the camera cable to the camera. WinCam.Live comes with a 25 ft. camera cable (50 ft and 100 ft also available). This cable carries both the power and data lines and can be extended up to 200 ft. (optionally 5000 ft.) This makes it very convenient to install WinCam.Live in areas where power isn’t readily available, such as rooftops, ceilings and exterior walls.
